The Regenesis Project Master Plan

Bohol, Philippines

The first Ecosystem Restoration Camp in the Philippines.

This project aims to restore a 17 HA area of degraded land while at the same time establish itself as the Philippine’s Center for Regeneration,  with an intent to transform various industries (tourism, agriculture, manufacturing, education, etc) to become regenerative.

Appropriate strategies such as food forestry, agroforestry, bamboo production, regenerative rice production, afforestation, etc. will be applied on site, the impacts of which will be carefully tracked and monitored over time, to evaluate overall success against our restoration goals:

  • Improve soil quality and fertility over time

  • Increase the water holding capacity of the land

  • Increased biodiversity and resilience of local ecosystems

  • Maximize carbon sequestration in soil, biomass, and permanent products (bamboo)

  • Strive for net positive systems in water, energy, carbon sequestration, food production, etc.

  • Support a variety of Nature and community-based businesses.
